Either way with matchmaking players are FORCED to play games they wouldn't want to play. Why do you think the amount of ragequitters on MW2, MW3, and BO2 is off the charts compared to CoD4, WaW, and BO1. It's because matchmaking in placing them in games they would not willingly join and do not want to play in.
You're shifting the original assertion:

No one's forcing you or anyone else to play any particular map or mode. Maybe you don't like the alternatives, but that's different than saying you're forced to play any particular map or mode. There are options. You don't like the options. It's akin to claiming you're forced to eat hot dogs simply because you don't like the alternatives in the refrigerator. You're not forced to eat hot dogs, because there's more than hot dogs in the pantry.
I wish I had a job making a million dollars a year, but just because I don't doesn't mean I'm forced to work at McDonalds or Burger King.
So, in the end, all you're really trying to say is that you want the ability to play the maps you like whenever you want. And to that I say take a number.
